Description
VPAC Construction is currently seeking a skilled Labourer to support our construction projects. As a Skilled Labourer, you will play a crucial role in assisting tradespeople and contributing to the successful completion of various construction tasks.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with various tasks on construction sites.
- Operating hand and power tools under the guidance of experienced workers.
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment at construction sites.
- Erecting and dismantling temporary structures as needed.
- Cleaning and preparing construction sites by removing debris and hazardous materials.
- Performing basic carpentry, concrete work, and other construction-related tasks as directed.
- Following safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in construction work.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.

Compensation
